Catherine Eaton, LCPC-S, GCDF, NCC worked as a veterinary nurse for over ten years prior to transitioning to a career in counseling.

After earning a Master of Science in Pastoral and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University Maryland in 2011 she found pet grief and loss is often overlooked and minimized.

Learning objectives:  Learn how to help clients cope with pet grief and loss. Learn interventions to address complicated grief, disenfranchised grief with case scenarios. Learn how to honor the client’s spirituality/religion while processing grief.
