School counseling professionals from across settings are invited to participate in this workshop; K-12 school counselors, supervisors and directors of school counselors, counselor educators and graduate school counseling students. This workshop will provide knowledge and skills about how school counseling professionals can respond to the national imperative of all students college ready/career ready. Gain insight into the ways in which national trends in academic achievement, college going and career readiness impact our society and economy. Learn how strategic school counseling practice that is systemic, data-driven and culturally responsive can address the challenges in today’s schools through equity-focused college ready/career ready programs.
